Job Requirements:

 

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a related engineering discipline. PE license, preferred.  Specialized industry related experience should include 3-5 years supporting BioPharma or Pharmaceutical design projects.  Project related experience should include: pharmaceutical/biotechnology processes and or facilities. Knowledge of aseptic processes & control concepts, GMP vendor packaged equipment, project execution following GAMP or other methods and qualification/validation concepts. Experience in the development of HMI programs. Screen, PLC programs, S88 software. Writing and debugging/testing of programs. Candidate must have direct s/w and h/w experience with Allen-Bradley (PLC), Intellution (HMI) and/or Delta-V DCS. On-site startup and commissioning support experiennce is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

 

? Under minimal supervision, individual is responsible for assisting in the development of control system hardware and software documentation in accordance with client life cycle methodology

? Must be familiar with the applications of industrial automation system hardware and software, P&ID development, and control systems concepts

? May provide technical guidance to design staff and junior engineers

? Preparation of professional services and construction cost estimates and completeness and quality of instrumentation procurement and construction packages.

? Excellent communication and documentation skills. Interface with client as needed to resolve issues and obtain approval of proposed designs



?  Coordinate efforts with various disciplines to insure accuracy of information

?  Some travel may be required as the projects transition to the field
