Cooling Systems Engineer

  CDI is currently recruiting for a Cooling Systems Engineer for our client.

 

Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Two years in mechanical design with hands-on validation experience.
Solid project management skills.


Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design of various mechanical components related to locomotive cooling systems (heat exchangers, valves, piping, pumps, fans, etc.). Work with suppliers, manufacturing, and field service to drive cost out of the design of these components. Develop test plans and test rigs for accelerated life and reliability demonstration testing. Own implementation and cut-in of each project.
Working knowledge of statistical tools.
Highly motivated & self-confident.
Priority & schedule sensitive.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Must be a team player capable of interfacing with customers, engineering, and production.
