Customer Engineer II

Demonstrated skills and proficiency to operate successfully in the customer environment.  Demonstrated capability to diagnose and repair failures on semiconductor equipment.  Ability to routinely lift, pull, or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.  Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other pertinent specialized equipment.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 ASEET or equivalent and 3-5 years electromechanical experience, orBSEET or equivalent and 2-4 years electromechanical experience.At least 2 years in the semiconductor industry.Process and/or software experience on related semiconductor equipment.Requires current driver?s license and passport.Must be willing and able to travelFlexibility to work on shifts/overtime/stand-by/on-call/holidays when required.Previous experience on Applied Materials? equipment.Well developed technical communication skills.Ability to recommend methods to enhance customer satisfaction and assist in training less experienced customer engineers.Ability to understand customer process and assume responsibility for customer satisfaction.
