Customer Service Control Engineer
Job Purpose:
Promotes customer service excellence by responding to technical control and software related issues.
Duties:
* Diagnose control and software related issues on custom fabrication equipment for the vinyl window industry.
* Provide technical support to diagnose and solve machine problems.
* Maintains working knowledge of electrical components, control systems and software of new machine designs as well as original equipment still in production.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Assist in control upgrade design and modifications, installations and rebuilds both in house and at customer facility if required.
* Potential of 25% travel.
* Must display positive, customer focused attitude.
Skills/Qualifications:
Product Knowledge of the vinyl window industry a plus.Programming Visual Basic and Allen Bradley systems also a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze control systems and software, Strong Verbal Communication,and Reporting Skills,
