SUMMARY

Primary responsibilities include the maintenance and design of customs implants and instrumentation specified by surgeons.  This involves working on a 3D CAD system to produce scaled models and manufacturing blueprints. Other responsibilities include interacting with surgeons and sales representatives to understand and create solutions for particular product issues.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a member of a product cell responsible for all custom instrumentation within their cell.Updates and maintains records of all custom requests. Modeling and drafting using Solidworks CAD softwareProvides support to the customer service and sales.Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor?s degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, and a minimum of 1 year of medical product development experience required.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Continued training in Solidworks preferred.
