Position #1 : Senior Electrical Engineer

 

Job Description: Sr. Electrical Engineer to serve as project lead and as in-house project manager on the design of electrical facilities for various clients including DOD, Universities and other public and private clients. Candidate will interact with clients, prepare and/or supervise the preparation of design work for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, communications and computer networks. Responsibilities include the coordination of work with the designs of other disciplines and the monitoring of compliance with the scope of work. Candidate will also be responsible for some business development activities and supervision of a small group of people.

 

Job Requirements:

1) 15 years of experience in related or similar work.
2) Familiarity with Hospital, University or DOD and other governmental design and documentation requirements.
3) Familiarity with building electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire protection/fire alarm, communications, LAN, IDS, CCTV, and lighting protection.
4) Familiarity with the preparation of plans and specifications for competitive bidding.
5) Ability to assess the condition of building electrical systems, compare alternate recommendations, and prepare reports to clients indicating the assessment, the options and the recommendations.

 

Other Required Skills:

1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2) Ability to work well with others and accomplish goals in a team atmosphere
3) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
4) Working knowledge of CADD software, either Microstation or AutoCad.
5) Physically able to perform site investigations necessary for design work

 

Position #2: Mechanical / HVAC Engineer

Job Description: Mechanical engineer with experience in facilities HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. Experience in production of construction documents, specifications, and energy studies

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience in the field. Professional registration obtained or soon to be obtained.

 

Position #3: Senior Architect


Job Description: Sr. Architect will serve as a project lead and/or as an in-house project manager on the design of facilities for various clients including Hospitals, DOD, Universities and other public and private clients. Candidate will interact with clients, prepare and/or supervise the preparation of design work and construction documents, coordinate work with the designs of other disciplines and monitor compliance with the scope of work. Responsibilities will also include some business development activities and the supervision of a small group of people.

 

Job Requirements:

1) 10 years of experience in related or similar work.
2) Familiarity with Hospitals, Retail or DOD, and other governmental design and documentation.
3) Familiarity with building design, detailing and specification.
4) Familiarity with the preparation of plans and specifications for competitive bidding.
5) Ability to assess the condition of building systems and components, compare alternate recommendations, and prepare reports to clients indicating the assessment, the options and the recommendations.
