DESIGN ENGINEER - SolidWorks, PDM and Technical Writing

Anthony International, the world leader in commercial refrigeration, is looking for a Design Engineer to create designs and drawings for mechanical / electical products. Anthony International is a dynamic, established and growing organization located in the San Fernando Valley. The Company is in the process of converting the entire company to Lean Manufacturing and needs professionals to be part of this challenging and rewarding process.

 

Responsibilities include:

Creating designs and drawing for mechanical / electrical products including individual parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies with limited guidance from Project Engineers.Work on PDMworks set up and maintenance for Engineering Departmnet.  Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations.Revise and create technical manuals.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills:?AA Degree or equivalent in mechanical / electrical design.?  Minimum of 2 years experience using SolidWorks.?  Experience using and maintaining PDMWorks.  ?  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.?  Knowledge of creating and maintaining engineering documentation, including ECN's drawings and specifications.?  Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Framemaker are preferred.?  Use of digital cameras is desired.?  Strong technical writing skills are strongly preferred.
