DIRECT HIRE - Associate Project Manager

Our Established Client, located in Erie, PA has an immediate DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an Associate Project Manager.

Job Description:
*Working under the direct supervision of a Senior Project Manager, assist in the management of contract schedule and customer relations for assigned projects.
*Assist in the planning, organization and execution of projects according to established project execution plans, including the RFQ log and minutes associated with project related meetings.
*Review technical and procurement scope issues in the proposal phase and provide evaluation to Senior Project Manager and Sales. Assist in the development of Project Execution Plan and participate in contract closure meetings.
*During the Project Execution Phase, monitor project schedules, costs and change orders. Facilitate technical performance, including design review and engineering deliverables. Monitor shipping and delivery with responsibility to notify Senior Project Manager of potential issues that may require risk management. Develops and provides documentation to support the approval of budget variance reports by the Senior Project Manager and assists in the resolution of back charges.
*Monitor the assignment s of all Construction Technical Advisors and field personnel assigned to the project.
*Develops documentation to support the resolution of field problems and back charges
*Working with Senior Project Manager, assure timely invoicing and customer payments at time of contract close out.
*Coordinate the hand off of contract and customer information to the Aftermarket Group for the warranty period of the contract.

Candidate Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
*Five to Seven Years experience in the utility/process industry
*Familiarity with contract language as it pertains to clients industry
*Basic understanding of scheduling logic a plus
*Computer literate with experience in Word, Excel, Access and other databases
*Familiarity with ISO 9001 processes and the ability to work within these processes and company guidelines.
