DIRECT HIRE - PROCESS MANAGER

A German Manufacturer of Minerals Processing Equipment has opened an office in Norcross, GA. They are currently have a need for a Process Manager.

 

General ConditionsPrimary responsibility will be to assist the President in coordinating in-house engineering and commercial activities.Effective communications with the parent company, clients, and the Norcross office is required. Work may include travel to project sites for extended periods.

 

General SkillsEngineer with mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic engineering knowledge to assess drawings and other documents. Experience with minerals grinding is a plus.Ability to evaluate vendor bid documents.Working knowledge of MS Office, CAD, Visio, and other various engineering software packages as needed.Strong communications skills; both verbal and written.Ability to work with German parent company.Self starter.

 

General Duties - partial list subject to change at all times.Field and respond quickly to phone requests from clients and potential clients - technical and commercial questions.Organize requirements for proposal preparation.Prepare proposals for equipment including:

- Pricing for internal supply.

- Solicitation and evaluation of Vendor supplied items; pricing.

- Proposal language and format.

 - E-mailed and/or regular mail presentation.

- Filing and organization to facilitate ongoing follow-up.

  Evaluate equipment drawings and customer process to determine project and process solutions.On-site troubleshooting of process problems.Commissioning of small installations and in emergencies, if required.Other duties at the direction of the President.
