DSM Product Marketing Engineer

Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in a technical discipline [or equivalent knowledge] and 5+ years directly related experience. Preferred previous work experience: general business experience and/or technical experience in a semiconductor company.

Job Specific Knowledge & Experience: Forecasting business opportunities for bookings and billings through the GOTS and BOTS reports.

Responsibilities: Responding to Customer RFQ Specifications, and leading technical negotiations with customers. Develop and implement strategic goals for account and product penetration by providing pertinent business information, and coordinating and participating in demos and customer meetings. Identifying and resolving technical product or commercial issues with marketing implications. Design and present product or account specific product information and difficult technical presentations to customers. Translate customer requirements into buildable systems within manufacturing business guidelines. Disseminating product and pricing information to the field. Managing the order process from time of booking through shipment to ensure communication of status and maintenance of commitments to customers, including source inspections.
