Position Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of activities within Data Management that supports the control, release, and regulating of engineering technical data. Applies working knowledge of data management concepts, practices and procedures to ensure the timely processing of data. Work directly with both internal and external customers.
Performs as data exchange coordinator.
Assist in defining task, preparation, and schedulng.
Workflow activity tracker.
Verifies accuracy and completeness of tasks.
Document procedures and job instructions related to process.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists the Lead/Supervisor in the preparation and execution of tasks, projects, and schedules.
2. Gathers, organizes, processes, distributes, and secures engineering data to workflow requirements.
3. Reviews data products to ensure legibility, verifies accuracy and completeness to proper format and procedures.
4. Define tasks or projects as required and coordinates the preparation, revision, and/or distribution of data.
5. Performs moderately complex tasks (i.e., coordinate the sign-off of a drawing).
6. Exercises creativity and initiative in processing engineering data.
7. Provides guidance and leads work teams to achieve goals and complete department initiatives.
8. Exercises independent judgment in carrying out responsibilities and able to identify, research, and resolve problems.
9. Adapts to change and meets deadlines.
10. Assists internal/external customers with requests via phone, email, fax, or in person.
11. Administrates the reserve, release, and retention of data using electronic systems.
12. Tracks/monitors the status of a job through workflow processes.
13. Audits and ensures work is in compliance with organizational requirements and procedures.
14. Mentors other team members in working to policies, procedures and processes.
15. Performs miscellaneous group clerical and/or operations support functions as required.
16. Performs other duties as required.

Prerequisites
Associate Degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience.
1. At least four (4) years of data processing and data control/management experience.
2. Have a detailed working knowledge of company Data Management processes.
3. Demonstrated typing accuracy and proficiency.
4. Experienced with electronic equipment, including personal computers, FAX and copy machines.
5. Knowledge of computer hardware and software including MS Office.
6. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively adjust to a changing environment.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical documents preferred.
8. Have strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to handle a large volume of work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
9. Must be able to prioritize multiple work assignments.
