Data Management & Document Control Administrator

We're currently seeking an innovative Data Management & Document Control Administrator to join our unique team as we continue our history of excellence.

 

The Data Management & Document Control Administrator will administer data pertaining to a contract under direction from Manager or Data Management Lead.  Data deliverable & items are associated with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL), & Contract Line Item Number (CLIN).  Prepares letters to accompany data deliverable transmittals for appropriate signature(s) & delivers data to customer.  Incorporates Engineering Change Notices into released documentation (A-size) using MS Office applications.  Ensures document format is consistent with division standards and checks for consistency of content.  Edits documents for correct spelling and grammar.  Responsible for maintenance of specified documentation on company intranet.  Additional tasks may include BOM entry/updates, part data entry, filing & archival of drawings, documents &/or software files, scanning, obtaining appropriate approvals on ECNs &/or documents. 

 

A qualified candidate will have a minimum 2 years Data Management, Technical Publications or Document Control experience in aerospace and defense environment or Associate?s degree from two-year college or university in English, Writing, Liberal Arts or other related field and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  This person must have the ability to handle and coordinate tasks with multiple customers including engineering, contracts and program management personnel, computer literacy, MS Office & Acrobat Proficiency. Experience with ERP, PDM or PLM database tools. Must be able to work as part of a team and have excellent follow through skills. Must be detail oriented and customer service focused.
