We currently have an opportunity in our Bridgeton, MO office for a Data Systems Engineer. This individual will be responsible for data collection and reporting system design, development, application support, and project execution for our customers in automotive, food and beverage, material handling, and discrete parts manufacturing industries.

Qualified candidates must possess a B.S./M.S. degree in engineering or computer science and have in-depth knowledge of and application experience with state of the art data solutions utilizing PLC?s, HMI?s, and relational databases. This individual should be experienced in data collection systems (RSSql, InSql, custom systems), relational databases including MS Access, MS SQL, etc., and reporting systems such as RSBizWare, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Crystal Reports. Programming language experience (VB, Java, C++, C#) is strongly desired. The team member we are looking for must be independent, flexible and a self-starter. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Job Requirements:

1. 2 to 5 years of data systems experience.
2. System analysis and quotation development, including hardware and software specification, labor estimating, and proposal development.
3. Program design/development and control engineering/application.
4. Timely execution of projects in order to meet established deadlines.
5. Effective communications with both internal and external customers.
6. Continuous technical skill development and improvement.
7. Root cause analysis and resolution for technical issues.
8. Strong organizational and project management skills.
9. Assistance with internal IT systems as required.
