Department Maintenance Manager

**INDIVIDUAL MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO RELOCATE TO A SMALL TOWN IN MIDWEST

**MUST HAVE STEEL BACKGROUND

Department Manager of maintenance activities in a Cold Sheet Finishing facility.  Responsible for all corrective, preventive and predictive activities for the department.  Manages staff of two supervisors, two electrical engineers, four planners and 24 hourly technicians.  Also responsible for adhering to all HR Policies and Procedures.  Responsible for forming yearly department budget, obtaining approval for such budget and managing to that budget.  Responsible for overall line reliability.  Responsible for continuous improvement processes.  Responsible for client's satisfaction with maintenance.  Must be capable of making presentations to all levels of management.  Computer skills in Microsoft Office required.

Job Requirements:

BS or BA Degree required.  Experience in the maintenance management of equipment involved in the pickling, finishing and rolling of carbon and stainless steel.  Will require a minimum of 10 years experience in rolling mill maintenance with at least 5 years of management experience.  Reliability maintenance experience including predictive and preventive maintenance analysis.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
