Deputy Project Manager
Job Description: Our Los Angeles, California Transportation Programs design unit is looking to add a Deputy Project Manager to their growing staff.Responsibilities include:
Working directly with contractors to deliver the design/build portion of LRT projects
Interface with MTA staff assigned to the project and manage a combined team of consultants and owner staff
Reviewing D/B contractor submittals and the monthly contractor schedule updates, payment applications and change orders
Job Requirements:
B.S. Civil Engineering with a California PE registration
Experience leading major transportation infrastructure programs with a minimum of 15 years in Light Rail Transit (LRT) serving as a Project Management or in a Senior Lead role
Strong design/build background
Any prior experience in management of D/B LRT projects is preferred
