Deputy Warranty Manager

Granite Services International, Inc. is currently seeking a Deputy Warranty Manager for a long-term assignment located in Schenectady, NY.

Successful candidates must posses the following required skills:

Education/Experience - BS Engineering or in process of working towards a 4 year engineering degree
- 2 years construction experience.
- 5 year's design and/or engineering power plant experience working with a power design AE
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Document Managements systems and work flow

- Construction, design and/or engineering power plant experience

Responsibilities include:
Assist development of project planning, scheduling, and reporting of project activities in regard to claim resolution. Provide the continuity to keep the project moving in the absence of a Warranty Manager. Collect and assemble project-operating data for the Team, and see that the numerous project documents are kept current. Inform Team of possible problem areas based on analysis of internal and external documentation and data. Interface between the engineering and scheduling component for engineering purchasing schedule and PPE internal schedule as needed. Drive open claim numbers down through proactive review and resolution. Support development of cost of quality issues, resolution proposals and Lessons Learned.
