Design/Build Project Manager: US Virgin Islands

N.A. Water Systems, a Division of Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies (VWS), is currently seeking a Design/Build Project Manager for an assignment at St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.

 

The selected candidate for this position will work on-site at our current project at St. Croix, Virgin Islands for the duration (12-18 months) of the project as a full-time employee (contact employment will also be considered).  While on-site in St. Croix, all expenses (apartment, automobile, meal allowance, one trip home per month, etc.) will be paid fully by the company.  At the completion of the project continued employment will be explored, depending on the flexibility of the selected candidate.

 

Responsibilities for this position will include management responsibility for the company?s industrial wastewater design/build project.  The selected candidate will provide direction to the internal and external engineering personnel, technical and project service departments and construction subcontractors.  This position is also responsible for client interface and reporting, project coordination, design review,  management of a six-person on-site construction management team (consisting of a construction manager, scheduler, QA/QC representative and various engineering disciplines), budget adherence and management of construction.

 

A Bachelor of Science Degree in civil, chemical, construction, or environmental engineering (or related field) is required for this position, along with a minimum of 10 years applicable experience.  Effective written and oral communication skills and a willingness to travel as needed is required.  Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, DBIA or PMP certifications, and/or Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
