Design Engineers

Responsibilities :

* Responsible for the sizing and design of control valves in accordance with customer specifications, selection of appropriate hardware and configuration for particular application, production support, and customer support
* Interacts with project team members from other disciplines to coordinate project requirements and schedules as needed
* Prepares and checks detailed valve drawings and releases valve design packages
* Prepares cost estimates for control valve design
* Responsible for reviewing customer contracts, and compiling and writing equipment specifications

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

* Knowledge of applicable valves, flange, and piping design standards
* Must understand the principles of stress analysis, as well as flow and fluid statistics.
* High level of computer skills, including spreadsheet programming and AutoCad. SolidWorks a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills
* Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
