Design Technician

Design Technician

Major responsibilities

? The Design Technician makes mesh models of various automotive components and runs FEA analysis

? Prepares management reports / presentation material for internal management and clients

Qualifications/Experience

? Experience with Hypermesh FEA software is highly desirable, but will train if needed

? Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including chart / graph generation) and PowerPoint

? Automotive industry experience preferred

? Must have the ability to handle multiple projects

? Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and work in a team environment

? Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely important

? Excellent attendance is essential to support the goals of the company

Education

? Associates degree (2 years) preferred or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering

Working Conditions

? Normal work hours are 8:00am ? 4:30pm, Monday ? Friday

? Overtime is worked as required

? Shift changes may occur as required

? May occasionally work at client?s site near Marysville, OH
