Education

Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent technical degree.


Experience
Three or more years related autocad experience required. Experience with packaging and process equipment, conveyor and electrical panel and schematic layouts in the consumer products industry preferred.


Requirements/Responsibilities


The design drafter will create and revise packaging and process equipment, conveyor layout and electrical schematics in an accurate and complete manner conforming to drafting standards. 

 

Will pull prints, work from marked up prints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce working drawings.  Will perform engineering file updates and maintenance. 

 

Will refine ideas and concepts originated by others and develop improvements. Other related responsibilities.

 

Requires excellent communication skills, impeccable proofing and checking skills, ability to work independently or with a team.
