Designer/ Draughtsperson

With tremendous growth over the past years, we are currently seeking the expertise of an experienced Designer/Draughtsperson for our?Griffin, GA?location.? This position is to design enclosures and miscellaneous parts including: 3D model, create layout views, create full dimensional piece part drawings, create .dxf files for build. The right candidate will also create 2D wiring diagrams and schematic drawings from sketches, quality control in respect of initial inspection of fabrication parts, negotiate price with fabrication and paint shops, create purchase orders for materials, arrange freight for incoming/outgoing materials, and order stock materials on shop floor.

Requirements: The right candidate MUST have 2-5 years knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience?will include?sheet metal design, knowledge of metal shop tooling, basic welds and sheet work. Requires experience with Iron cad or 3D equivalent solid modeling software, to include Microsoft Excel and Word.?
