Designer/Project Coordinator

A leading West Michigan Manufacturer of Conveyors and Handling Equipment is seeking to hire a Designer/Project Coordinator.  This position works closely with the engineering, sales and production departments to design and build integrated material handling systems for lightweight containers such as plastic bottles.  Major responsibilities include conveyor and machinery layouts, preparing quotes, bill of materials and coordinating project schedules.  The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills and be proficient in AutoCAD 2007 and MS Office.

 

An engineering degree and two years of applicable industrial experience is preferred.  Some travel required.
