Development Engineer II
Job Description: The individual will develop and validate filtration product manufacturing processes under the direction of a program manager and/or senior process development engineer.Successfully launch innovative, competitive, and manufacturable filtration products within the new product development process from development (feasibility) though release to pilot manufacturing (launch).
Works within the development and validation stages of PDP. Proven process and product prototypes will be transformed into manufacturing ready and robust processes/products that meet and exceed both internal (Manufacturing/Quality) and external (Customer) expectations. Good problem solving skills, FMEA, risk analysis, and experimental design will be critical. Successfully launch innovative, competitive, and manufacturable filtration products within the new product development process from development (feasibility) though release to pilot manufacturing (launch). Delivers new products that meet and exceed both internal manufacturing/quality and end customer expectation. Develops robust manufacturing processes via well documented design of experiments and operational qualifications.
Minimum requirements: BSME or MS with 0-5 years of related industry experience. Experience with manufacturing and/or membrane separation products preferred. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing, Design of Experiments, and Minitab statistical software a plus.
