Development Engineer- R&D

As a Development Engineer at Micron's 300mm facility in Manassas, Virginia, you would be a part of the FAB4E Research & Development group.  Job responsbilities would include the following:  300mm Wet process development with focus on meeting process requirements for 0.065 micron technology node and beyond.  Single wafer wet processing development.  Development of Electro chemical/ electroless deposition of metal films.  Evaluation/comparison of tools from various vendors to support 300 mm tool selection.  Work with manufacturing fabs to understand the process issues and develop effective solutions.



Qualified candidates should have good communication skills, hands on experience on  wet process tools including single wafer processing tool or electroplating tools, good understanding batch, single wafer cleans, electroplating, an in depth understanding of statistical design of experiments and data analysis, and knowledge of various thin film and wet chemistry characterization techniques.

Education:
MS or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Electrical or Material Science.  Degrees in related fields will be considered.
