Dimensional Management Engineer - (DS13356)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support the Technical Design Review and Lessons Learned Forums
-Coordinate the selection and application of Functional Datums and use of GD&T in order to achieve Craftsmanship requirements. Provide oversight and approval of ACH designs with respect to functional datums and GD&T.
-Review Suppliers Datum selection and use of GD&T to insure compliance with ACH guidelines.
-Maintain the current Gage Development Process and implement within IP Cockpit.
-Coordinate the Gage plans for ACH end item assemblies.
-Review and approve Supplier Gages.
-Resolve Dimensional issues between OEM, ACH, and Suppliers.
-Assist in the resolution of Interior Systems dimensional issues.

YEARS EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years experience in interior systems engineering

DEGREE STRONGLY PREFERRED:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering

DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
GD&T Certification
Gage specification, design and construction
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and capabilities to support tolerancing

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (i.e. Overtime, Travel, etc.):
Travel may be required to support manufacturing locations.
