Position Description

? Lend expertise to a directional drilling operation. Work is typically in a mining or oil and gas environment.
? Ensure personal safety requirements are met, and support co-workers in performing work in a safe manner.
? Supervise directional drilling work.
? Prepare daily reports of directional drilling activities.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications/requirements

? The willingness and ability to work out-of-doors in all weather conditions is necessary.
? Must be able to work long hours, and may be required to work at remote or ?camp? locations.
? Must possess a valid driver's license, and pass a drug screen. A Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) must be obtained, or in place for employment.
? The ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools (up to 75 pounds) is necessary.
? Previous experience as a directional driller is required.
? Must have a complete knowledge of mechanics related to directional tools.
? Good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both clients and team members is essential.
