Director, Foundry Operations

The selected candidate will:

 

- Plan and manage matters relating to Vitesse wafer foundry processing and turn key ASIC activity.

- Perform New tape out coordination and engineering splits.

- Serve as interface between design centers and wafer foundry, wafer production ordering and production control.

- Effectively manage and interface with various foundry subcontractors, internal design centers, and planning to achieve on-time shipments that meet yield, quality and cost reduction goals each month. 

- Ensures that Vitesse?s process technology roadmap is consistent with our suppliers? and Vitesse?s needs.

 

 

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should possess:

 

BS/MS degree plus at least seven years of related experience in foundry operations and manufacturing within the semiconductor industry. This includes experience working with various suppliers, and hands-on experience  with wafer foundries, wafer fab processing and device engineering. Demonstrated leadership, management and negotiation experience. Ability to accomplish projects and consistently on time and within budget (excellent follow up skills).
