Director, Software Quality Assurance
The candidate should have a proven track record with experience in leading and managing a team that has tested VOIP telephony products. The candidate will have overall responsibility for all phases of software testing including automation. Requires knowledge of the QA process, telephony protocols, IP routing, as well as the matrix management paradigm. These telephony protocols include SIP, SS7, H.248, and ISDN. Prior experience with high availability systems and redundancy required. Additionally, an understanding of automation architectures and mechanisms for implementing these approaches are a plus.
The ideal candidate will be able to drive the design of the test approach with the goal of ensuring a high-quality, high performance, and scalable software platform. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills. Experience in software methodologies/processes, and the ability to lead is a must.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Minimum of 10 years industry experience in tele/data communications with at least 5 years in a management role.
Proven track record in testing telephony products.
