Director of Analog IC Design

We are seeking a Director of Analog IC Design for our Austin based client

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee a small team (in a hands on capacity) designing analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks for power converter products

QUALIFICATIONS
- MSEE or better
- 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience, primarily in the area of Analog/mixed-signal IC design
- 5+ years of formal management experience
- Experience designing and introducing to manufacturing complex mixed-signal integrated circuits
- Experience with CMOS transistor-level circuit design
- Solid understanding of CMOS device physics
- Experience with all phases of mixed-signal IC design (systems-level, circuit-level, spice simulation, custom layout, bench validation, manufacturing test)
- Experience with analog behavioral modeling in the Cadence AMS environment
- Excellent communications skills
- Solid problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

DESIRABLE
- Experience designing and characterizing high-speed ADCs and DACs
- Transistor-level design of voltage references
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink simulation
- Familiarity with DSP design techniques
- Experience with digital control algorithms
- PCB design experience
- Experience with dc-dc converters and linear regulators
