Director of International Engineering

Interface with the company?s international operation to provide technical assistance in the operation of a global Stolen Vehicle Recovery Network.
Design, specify, install and perform user testing on new Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems in new international markets.

Provide technical assistance to operations in the international markets in the maintenance upgrades and operation of existing systems.
Act as an intermediary between the company and its international partners to determine product needs, to solve product issues in a technical capacity to ensure the reliable operation of the network.

Oversee engineering life cycle of international hardware products including architecture, design, and implementation. Assist in the identification of regulatory, testing, and compliance requirements such as FCC, ETSI, etc.
Confer with product marketing on writing of functional specifications.

Maintain relationships with vendors and orders necessary parts.
Work closely with quality assurance in identifying bugs and building fixes.









Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
MSEE highly desirable.
5-8 years work experience.
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
Must be able to travel 30%-50% of the time to support the international markets
