Director of Quality Assurance


Position based in San Mateo, CA.

We are a supply chain ASP software and services company providing a solution that streamlines global trading processes for enterprises and their partners.  The company delivers an on-demand, end-to-end solution to improve global trade operating efficiencies and cash flows.

 

Director of QA will manage and company?s software quality assurance and release engineering processes. Director of QA will work closely with development, product management, and support/professional services.  This person should be extremely pro-active, organized, responsible, and should work well within a group.


Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in QA management role; minimum of 12 years experience in quality assurance, release management role.Experience managing a minimum of 30 man team in geographically distributed environmentSolid technical skills with a good understanding of internet software architecturesExcellent communication skillsSuperior technical and business problem solving skills and judgment Expertise in formal QA methodologies and principles Applying formal project management and QA methodologies Expertise with automated testing practicesPerforms well under pressureExperience with supply chain applications a plusExperience with ASP delivery model a plusQuality Assurance certifications a plusBS in technology or business preferred.
