District Sales Manager (Commercial/Industrial Products)

Grundfos Pumps Corporation, the worldwide leader in providing innovative pump technology and solutions is seeking a Commercial/Industrial (C/I) District Sales Manager to serve the territory of Northern Illinois and Indiana. The ideal candidate for this position will be located in the Chicago Metro area.

Description: Evaluate and manage new and existing accounts (distributors/wholesalers) and OEM?s in the industrial, commercial, municipal and irrigation markets for Grundfos products. Manage Grundfos? policies and programs. Complete call reports, expense reports, territory and competitive evaluations. Train distributors to support specifying engineers, end users, and contractors with Grundfos? solutions. Develop relationships with Partners, OEM?s, End Users, and Key Accounts within the territory. Attend local chapter association meetings and conduct sales presentations and training. Host and coordinate trade shows within geographical area.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, degree in Engineering technical field preferred or equivalent experience; 5-10 years of industrial, commercial, municipal, irrigation, sales or equivalent experience; knowledge of industrial, commercial and municipal markets; knowledge of domestic and industrial pumping systems; strong presentation and training skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in using PC software programs. Ability to travel 65% of the time including overnights and weekends is a must.
