Document Control Analyst

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for the control of design related documents/information beginning with initial release, change activity through obsolescence. Maintain item master, BOM data & drawing file. The posting, notification & distribution of documents/item information. This is to assure the accurate & timely availability of design/product data while assuring traceability through the lifecycle.  Support Engineering by entering items & BOMs prior to the Pre Release process.

 RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL

Uses general guidelines & established procedures with minimal supervision. Work impacts customer as well as many engineering, operations & sales disciplines.

 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.  Enter & ensure accurate item master records including BOM, cost roll, revision, release status, etc.

2.  Prepares E.O. package for CCB.

3.  Prepares & distributes the CCB agenda.

4.  Implements the approved EO with effectivity dates & updates Baan item master /BOMs & EO information.

5.  Day to day file management of all drawings & part number requests.

6.  Analyzes EOs for CCB meeting

7.  Distributes drawings/documents information per procedure as required.

8.  Performs New Part related activity.

9.  Chairs CCB when needed. 

10. Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

? High School Graduate.

? 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing & engineering environment.

? Computer literate, Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel & Outlook.

? General knowledge of ERP principles

? Strong written & oral communication.

? Excellent organizational skills.

? Strong attention to detail.
