Drafter/Engineer

TX mfg of display components for the retail fixture, point-of-purchase and signage industries has an opening for a drafter/engineer who can prepare working plans and detailed drawings that consist of component piece parts and finished goods drawings for mfg purposes.  Responsibilities include: generate technical drawings to show assembly and fabrication instructions, part specifications and customer information; generate estimates and material take-offs for new product designs; create bill of materials and other related documents on all products and maintain database of this information; and assist in generating timelines and scheduling estimates for assigned tasks. Applicant must have Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting/Engineering or equivalent experience, extensive experience with AutoCAD (2004 and higher), and 3D experience.  Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks solid modeling programs are a huge plus!  Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and problem solving skills.  Excellent Benefits.  Equal Opportunity Employer.
