Drafter - Mechanical Design

FIBA Technologies, Inc. is an internationally recognized and growing company with 4 locations nationwide.  We supply equipment to the cryogenic, compressed gas and chemical industries.  The Drafter is based at our corporate headquarters in  Millbury, MA and reports to the Project Engineer.

 

Position Summary:  Creates new drawings and generates changes to existing drawings for FIBA products and customers under the general direction of the Project Engineer.

 

Essential Functions

 

 

1.  Generates new equipment and installation drawings for trailers, skids, manifolds, machine shop parts, and presure vessel manufacturing. 

2. Provides Bill of Materials for same.

3. Develops new drawing releases.

4. Implements changes to existing drawings.

5. Controls documentation.

6. Works under direction of Project Engineer.

7. Interfaces with customers, FIBA sales and other personnel at off-site facilities

 

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

Associates Degree, Technical Certification in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience with 5 years experience  in a manufacturing/project environment using AutoCAD (20002D preferred), good communication and organizational skills.
