Draftsperson

We have an immediate opening for a Draftperson in our Lafayette Hills, PA corporate headquarters.

 

The position duties include:

 Copies sketches, layouts, plans and drawings or engineering systems or or components. Performs drafting assignments by applying standardized drawing techniques. Reviews drawings to ensure they comply with established standards. Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and simple isometric drawings. Analyzes sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings. Understands and follows the company's standard CAD procedures for layering, etc. and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. Coordinates details and dimensions between drawing sheets.

 

Candidate qualifications include:

 A basic understanding of CAD terminal operation and Auto Cad software operation obtained from experience or schooling. Strong attention to detail Customer Service experience exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment
