Dry Etch Shift Engineer

As a Dry Etch Shift Engineer for IM Flash Technologies, you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving your assigned area while working with production operators and area technicians to produce silicon-based semiconductor products.  In this position, you will be required to make decisions on how to address tools that are out of control for established SPC rules for both process and defect related Issues. You will also be required to make decisions on how to disposition product that is out of control for established SPC rules for both process and defect related issues. Additionally, you will be required to make sure All SWRs are processed correctly and in a timely manner and assist 1st shift Engineering and vendor support on long-term down equipment.
 
Other responsibilities include keeping the Lead Engineer updated on all process-related issues and long-term down status and working in a team environment with other Fab areas to resolve issues that affect multiple areas.

 



You must possess good organizational skills and be able to work on, and prioritize, multiple tasks. You should be self motivated; have excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and organizational skills; be willing to work any shift; and be flexible for shift rotation on shifts A, E, C, or F. It is also essential that you work well in groups and one-on-one situations; have a working knowledge of Fab processes; and have good analytical skills.  Strong mechanical aptitude is also preferred.


 


Required Education:
You must have a degree in Engineering or have held a Semiconductor Engineer position for 6 months.


 


**Initial training will be conducted in Manassas, Virginia. Position will be located in Lehi, Utah.**
