Dry & Wet Etch Engineer for MEMS & Advanced CMOS & BiCMOS

Jazz Semiconductor is seeking an R&D/Production Etch Engineer with 2-5 years experience in integrated circuit CMOS & BiCMOS manufacturing or MEMS manufacturing.

 

Experience in tool, process, R&D and process sustaining of silicon, silicon-dioxide and silicon-nitride etching is required.  Experience with LAM, AMAT, STS, TEL etch tools, in a manufacturing environment, as well as process development of wet etch or vapor etch processes is strongly desired.  Experience with tool installation and tool and process qualification required.  Experience with Promis lot management system is a plus along with manufacturing statistical process control.

 

The interested candidate will have a bachelor?s degree with 3-7 years equivalent experience, or a master?s or a doctorate degree with 2-5 years experience. An understanding of tool qualification procedures as well as new recipe development for excellent manufacturability to meet R&D goals is required.

 

The position exists within Jazz Research & Development but is cross-functional in nature due to foundry-manufacturing fab environment.  The interested candidate will possess excellent communication skills, will be self-motivated and will be able to work in teams or to contribute as an individual.
