In this position you will act as the functional subject matter expert for the Air Force Enterprise Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health-Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) Hazardous Materials media, ensuring user requirements and functionality are incorporated into the software development process as approved by the Functional Working Groups and Review Boards. You will provide technical and functional expertise and support in program management, data management, and related specialties in the research and development of Automation systems. You will provide oversight to ensure that the user requirements are carried out in the development of EESOH-MIS. You will work with base-level functional experts in the analysis, definition, and modeling of the activities, inputs, outputs, controls, and mechanisms that support the Hazardous Materials business practices. You will need a strong knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Business processes performed by the Air Force and a willingness to learn the Software Development Process. You'll update schedules and establish and complete suspenses on a monthly basis. You'll also coordinate training and develop implementation plans and then carry out those plans. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to brief people in all levels of management. You will support and coordinate software testing.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for the position:

Bachelors degree in a related field and 8 years experience.
5 + years Air Force CE Environmental experience with emphasis on the Hazardous Material media.
U.S. Citizenship.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Project management experience with experience in software development process.
