ELECTRO-MECHANICAL Engineer

Job Description:

Successful candidate will be able to work under limited supervision and perform both prototype and production design and limited assembly tasks and generate verbal and written instructions and procedures.

Applicants must be able to assemble, align and test electromechanical components and sub-assemblies and systems utilizing standard tools and test equipment as defined by the process.

Maintain documentation to industrial standards and a clean and organized work environment.

 

If you are a Mechanical Engineer with broad knowledge and experience, i.e., you have been handy, interested in plastics, fiber-glass lamination, machining, we have a very interesting and wide-ranging job for you.

 

The candidate will be required to:Work under limited supervision interface and collaborate with others as neededHigh attention to detailWork collaboratively with other assemblers, engineers, supervisors, and managersCalibrate mechanical assemblies to meet tolerance and product specifications.Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications Required:College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering0-5 Yrs related work experienceGood written and oral communication skillsMust be familiar with AUTOCAD 2 D and 3D, MS Office.Familiarity with tolerancing of mechanical partsGood team and collaboration skills

 

Helpful experience:Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembliesKnowledge of mechanical assemblies of rotating machineryKnowledge of non-metallic materials (fiberglass, thermoplastics)Experience with bill of material maintenance
