ENERGY CONSULANT/EPC

We are looking for qualified engineers to join our team, based out of our San Francisco office.!!!


*******This is an ENERGY CONSULTING/EPC - Engineering position, only those with experience in the energy field - such as project economics/rate analysis, project design, energy efficiency, conservation, distributed energy generation/combined heat and power, PV, HVAC, and cooling systems etc., should apply.**********

The position requires flexibility, diversity, and strong communication skills. Assignments will range from energy conservation via demand analysis of existing facilities to economic analysis/design/construction of major new facilities. The position involves significant interface with clients and other corporate divisions, and requires some travel during the business week. The position requires the ability to coordinate work with team members (internal and external) of varied backgrounds.

Candidates must be familiar with energy saving strategies and have experience with calculating associated energy savings in electrical energy production, steam, refrigeration, HVAC, lighting systems, and other commercial, institutional, or industrial systems. EPC design experience in combined heat and power is desirable.

Candidates applying for the Los Angeles area opportunity must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Working on a variety of energy saving calculations, strategies, projects and tasks as assigned. Includes project fieldwork, analysis, and report production using standard resources and templates and custom tools as directed.

? Working on tool development and special projects as assigned, clarifying scope, schedule, budget and other expectations with the project manager as needed.

? Managing projects as directed by the Lead Engineer; including all aspects of planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, deciding technical approach, ensuring technical quality, tracking, and ensuring customer?s expectations are met or exceeded.

? Keeping managers aware of project schedules and progress and providing regular time charging/budget updates as requested.

? Staying informed about energy issues and industry trends through regular technical reading and participation in local and national professional organizations.

Minimum requirements: BS/BA degree in Engineering or a related energy field & MS Office proficiency. Professional registration preferred. Proficiency in project scheduling software and cycle design analysis software (e.g., GT Pro) is desirable.
