  Executive Vice President of Engineering. 

 

EVP of Engineering

? Manage multiple projects (conducted solely by company as well as

 Joint  Ventures) to product shipment and customer acceptance.

? Recruit and Develop Engineering Talent

? Maintain Effectiveness:

? Ensure that Quality System and Standard Engineering Practices (SEPs) are

 followed in Engineering

? Interface with senior level managers, peers and direct reports, to maintain mutual

 understanding of product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements.

? Harness and Protect Companies proprietary & confidential information;

? Through filing patents.

? Maintaining trade secret program and confidentiality policy.

? Maintaining good record of our research and development.

? Support Company marketing & business development needs:

? Through customer presentations.

? Through deploying based technologies in product lines.

? Seeking new joint ventures by impressing them with our ability to meet

 their expectation (schedule), talent, discipline and proprietary position.

?   Work with thought leaders/clinical investigators to gain product

 exposure endorsements, and valuable feedback for improving design of

  the product  line.

?   Seek out new technologies for Company to license

Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Desired Training and Experience Required:

? Strong inter-personal skills

? Strong planning and organization skills

? Strong oral and written communication skills

? Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience.

? Experience in taking a major device from inception to customer shipment.

? Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

? Experience working in both large structured and small

  entrepreneurial organizations.

? A proven presence which commands the respect and trust of

 customers, physicians, engineers and other team members at all levels

 within Company.

? Scheduling, forecasting and budgeting experience for multiple product lines.

? Experience in developing Software/Firmware for Biomedical Products.

? Digital Signal Processing experience.

? Electro-Optics Design experience.

? Knowledge of FDA 510(k) approval process, ISO 9001 and GMP requirements.

? A mature thinking and acting leader with good common sense and judgment, and

 a broad business perspective with outstanding administrative 

 capabilities to build, motivate and manage a strong engineering organization.

?Comfortable in high visibility situations and exhibits strong self-confidence.

?Well-organized and accustomed to maintaining good records.

?A high energy individual who, works well under pressure and with

minimal supervision.
