Job Description:
Proficient level position. A moderately supervised position in a team environment in which primary responsibilities include preparing drawings with CADD, assist in other aspects of plan preparation such as information gathering and plan production. Focus of responsibilities will generally be related to a specific Engineering sub-type. Ability to manage computer file systems, understand file interrelationships & customize data with the individual files. Ability to identify specific information from substantial amount of related data or written information from such sources as reports, notes, manuals and specifications. Ability to read and understand the terminology and symbols used in notes, plans, shop drawings, aerial photographs, and maps to interpret data and information for use in designing construction plans. Ability to accurately transfer information in numerical, written, sketched, or electronic format from sources such as descriptions, data, aerial photographs, and computer files to final plans. Identifies errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggests alternatives.


Job Qualifications:
HS or GED, plus 1-2 years technical school or Associate of Science, plus 3 years experience. The successful candidate should have with strong computer, written, and communication skills.
