Electrical Controls Engineer. A premier Engineering consulting firm located in the Twin Cities seeks an Electrical Engineer/Controls Engineer to lead the design and development of custom computer-integrated control systems for large scale automated manufacturing. This individual will lead, schedule, and direct the workload of this controls-engineer group.  Other duties will include a degree of hands-on engineering, plus the liason and coordination with project engineering, mechanical design engineering, and the customer.

REQUIREMENTS: 

The following list notes credentials that we are looking for in general terms. An engineer who possesses experience in many of the below listed areas plus has demonstrated lead control design experience would be the best fit for this position.? Engineering Degree (BS Electrical or EE with Computer option)? Minimum of 6 years experience relating to leading the design, programming, and commissioning of Industrial Control Systems for automated manufacturing equipment.? An advanced degree in engineering and or business is a plus? Professional engineering registration is a plus? Experience in developing equipment for FDA regulated industries is a plus? Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Access, Project, Powerpoint.? Proficiency with AutoCad and experience in developing electrical schematics and panel layout drawings.? Hardware design experience - 480 VAC and below power distribution, motor sizing, component sizing, Allen-Bradley PLC component selection, sensors, and transducers? Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience with RSLogix 5000 for ControlLogix applications including motion control applications.? Rockwell HMI programming experience with RSView SE software including both Machine Edition for PanelView applications and Supervisory Edition for larger applications and those requiring 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance.? Rockwell business software programming experience with RSBizWare Plant Metric software, RSSQL, and real time data collection to SQL databases.? Relational database design experience and familiarity with VB, VB.net, C++, and other high level programming languages.? Robotic application programming and commissioning experience primarily with Adept, Epson, Fanuc, or Yamaha Robots.? Machine vision application programming and commissioning experience primarily with Cognex and DVT.? Motion Control Experience? Machine commissioning experience?
