Join us now as an Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls Engineer and leverage your knowledge of air pollution control.

Under the direction of the Manager of Electrical Engineering, this position will be responsible for all aspects of electrical design, estimating and field support for utility and industrial equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

Design and prepare documentation and drawings for electrical power distribution and control systems related to air pollution control equipment and ancillary equipment and/or systems.

Work with engineers and other designers and CAD operators in the preparation of project documentation to support the electrical, instrumentation and control systems for equipment and installation.

Check designs and drawings prepared by others including vendor documentation.

Instruct and train CAD operators and other designers with less experience.

Support field during construction and statup.

Knowledge Required:

CAD software
Power distribution for high, medium, and low voltage
Motor control for process type equipment.
Control systems (PLC and DCS)
Instrumentation
Electrical Installation
Microsoft Access (engineering database)
Microsoft Windows and Office software.

Skills:

Electrical design and installation on medium to large utilities and industrial projects.
Self motivated/self directed with leadership skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

Travel:

As required (average 10 to 20%)

Education:

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 5 years working in the industrial and utility industry with field assignments.
