Electrical Design Engineer III

Manpower Professional of Central Illinois is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer III for a direct placement position in Springfield, IL. The primary responsibility of this position will be to design and develop hydraulic/pneumatic valves and pressure switches. Qualified candidates must have an Electrical Engineering degree and at least 8 years of work experience in this area. Must have excellent electrical circuit, contact systems, coil system design and experience with various modeling tools such as P-Spice. Experience with board level design as well as system level design is required. Must have previous experience with multiple product launch successes from concept to production. Must have Green Belt certification with Black Belt certification a plus. PMP certification is also a plus. Preferred candidates will have experience with designing/defining serial communication interfaces like CAN-bus, will have experience with wireless communication chip-set selection, and will have experience with ASIC functional specification, vendor selecting and qualification. The starting pay rate for this position will be depending on previous experience.
