Electrical Engineer/ Associate Electrical Engineer

Positions are responsible for providing pricing/quote information to the sales group and to facilitate the order process from customers? expectations through production. Duties include, but are not limited to:

? Provide quote information for electrical control panels.
? Produce submittal package for customer orders.
? Create electrical schematics and BOMs per customer submittals.
? Provide technical solutions for customer and productions issues.
? Provide training for internal employees and customers.

The Electrical Engineer position requires a Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering and E.I.T/P.E. certification or ability to test for certification is preferred. The Associate Electrical Engineer position requires a 2-year electrical or electronic degree. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2005; Microsoft office software; knowledge of NEC and UL; and wiring assembly in a production environment is also required. Experience/training with soft start devices, VFDs, PLCs, controllers and other types of test equipment; and knowledge of light metal work in production environment preferred.

Candidates with excellent problem solving skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement efforts preferred.
