Electrical Engineer - Automation Controls , Pharma Biotech

Education

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree.


Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of electrical engineering with automation applications.


Requirements/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include control system design, control panel engineering, SCADA, PLC and HMI programming, and site start-up support of integrated systems for the pharmaceutical industry.

 

Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, programming, and troubleshooting of line control systems for packaging pharmaceuticals. Some work experience is required with Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500) and Siemens PLC?s, PanelView HMI?s, Industrial Communication Networks and control panel design.  Experience with RSView32, Intellution iFix and VisualBasic is a plus. Experience with DeviceNet, Ethernet and ControlNet desirable.

 

Solid understanding of GAMP design documentation guidelines and validation of control systems in a cGMP environment is desirable.

 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with teams, clients, and vendors are required.  Flexibility for travel is required.
