Electrical Engineer/Designer

Randall Lamb, a California Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consulting firm, is offering a challenging opportunity for an Electrical Engineer/Designer with RCDD registration (required). Our San Diego office has an opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer with a RCDD registration.  In addition to electrical systems design skills, the right candidate must have experience and primary responsibility (RCDD) for developing construction documents and specifications for telecommunications, security and other low-voltage systems including both interior and exterior plant systems for distribution.

The candidate will be part of a multidiscipline team and will provide contract drawing preparation for structured cabling systems and electrical power/lighting systems, project design, system improvements, system upgrades, and specification definition for projects in the Health Care, Biotech, Educational, and Commercial fields.  The successful candidate will be a leader, self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
 
Requirements:

?  RCDD registration mandatory with 3-5 years experience in structured cabling design.
?  BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering desired.
?  P.E. or E.I.T. desired or electrical building system design experience.
?  Minimum 3 years verifiable experience in contract drawing preparation, project design, system improvements and upgrades, in commercial, healthcare, biotech, and educational facilities.
?  Superior communication skills a must.
