Job Requirements and Description

 

Bachelor?s Degree in discipline from an accredited school and six (6) months experience in related discipline.  Must be a U.S. citizen and must be able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

 

Duties:

 

Testing and working with ammunition and weapon systems; apply instrumentation to test materiel, acquiring and recording test data, analyzing data, repairing and trouble shooting instrumentation, verifying adequacy and accuracy of work, and providing logistical and administrative support to various test programs.  Assists higher level engineer in designing, modifying, and constructing electronic and electro-mechanical instrumentation used in performance measurements for test and evaluation projects.  Design criteria is not always standardized or well established and/or the objective may be improvement and updating of circuit elements/equipment in order to incorporate new advances where existing technical data is not always adequate.  Assists in the design, modification, development, construction, installation, alignment, operations, troubleshooting, and repairs of a various electro instrumentation.
